If you are interested in a very competitive Golf Group and you are a single digit handicapper, then the Grand Scratch Group might be for you. Most of the members will not ride a cart with a smoking person.
The players have had 15 holes-in-1's in the last 14 years - about 1 / yr. The largest payout was $300.
The latest player to have a Hole-in-1 was Jim LeMar on February 10, 2024 at GFN.
He used a 7 Iron for the 163 yd shot and collected $120.

9 years and counting in the “The Scratch Golf Group”. Imagine getting tee times with other competitive low handicap players. Games set up, score cards made and ready to go. Thanks to Chap for the magic each week. A lot of work and dedication. It has it all. Competitive golf, great guys, great fun.

I have been in Chapy's Scratch group for 11 years and play all 3 days each week. He does an enormous amount of work making all the teams, t-times and scorecards. It's very easy to make friendships with the players in this group. It's a great group!

I have been part of the Scratch Golf Group for several years. It is a very competitive group of low handicap golfers. We are serious and competitive and still have a lot of fun. It’s always a challenge. I’ve made numerous friends while playing in the group.

I have been a member of the Scratch Group since moving to SCG in mid 2021. I was keen to find a group of low handicap players to compete against and the Scratch Group has provided just that. The format we use provides me with the opportunity to compete on both an individual and team level which I enjoy.
